Warranty Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Warranties on ELOHUBS are given by the Seller of each product. When a listing states a warranty (for example "12 months"), that Seller commits to honour it for the stated period from the delivery date, and the platform holds them to it through the dispute process.
1. What is covered
- Manufacturing defects and faults that appear during normal use within the warranty period.
- Items that stop working without misuse, verified by the Seller or an authorised technician.
- Where the manufacturer provides its own warranty, the Seller passes it through and assists with the claim.
2. What is not covered
- Physical damage after delivery: drops, liquid damage, power surges, accidents.
- Normal wear and tear, and consumables (batteries beyond their rated life, cables, filters).
- Damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or use against the manufacturer's instructions.
- Products opened, modified or repaired by anyone the Seller has not authorised.
- Listings that state no warranty. Check the listing before buying; the warranty field is part of the product description.
3. How to claim
- Find the order under My Account → Orders and message the Seller describing the fault, with photos or a short video.
- The Seller may ask you to bring or send the item for inspection. Keep your order number; it is your proof of purchase.
- The remedy is repair, replacement, or (when neither is possible) a refund, at the Seller's reasonable choice.
- If the Seller does not respond or you disagree with the outcome, open a dispute from the order and the ELOHUBS team will review it, as described in the Terms & Conditions.
4. Dead on arrival
An item that is faulty out of the box is not a warranty case: it falls under the Return & Refund Policy and its 7-day window, which is faster for you.
5. Your legal rights
This policy adds to, and does not replace, any rights you have under Rwandan consumer protection law.
